Accessibility

SacAnime is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for every attendee.

During SacAnime Summer 2026, our ADA Information Booth will be located in the Grand Ballroom. If you need accommodations at any point during the weekend, stop by the booth and our Accessibility team will be glad to help. Questions before the event? Email sacanimevip@gmail.com.

Accommodations we offer

  • Accessible seating for panels and major events.
  • Assistance with lines where possible.
  • Closed Captioning is available in the two Celebrity Panel rooms, located in the Hyatt Ballroom and Memorial Auditorium.

Service animals

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is a dog individually trained to perform tasks directly related to a person's disability. Animals providing emotional support, comfort, or therapy are not recognized as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted inside the venue.

  • Supervision

    Service animals must remain under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.

  • Never unattended

    Service animals may not be left unattended under any circumstances.

  • Clean-up

    Handlers are responsible for being prepared to clean up after their animal at all times.

  • Health & safety

    SacAnime reserves the right to deny or remove any service animal deemed a threat to health or safety, or in violation of these policies.

  • Credentialing

    All service animals must be credentialed by our Accessibility (Access) Program staff before entering the event, including those traveling from out of state. On arrival at the security checkpoint, let security know you are accompanied by a service animal and ask to be directed to the ADA Information Booth, where staff will issue the official convention collar tag.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted — only trained service animals as defined by the ADA.

Wheelchair & mobility aid rentals

SacAnime does not provide mobility aids on-site. Attendees are responsible for arranging any rentals — including delivery and pickup at their hotel — and for all associated costs. Please make arrangements in advance. A few local providers:
