Artist Alley
Artist Alley is the heart of SacAnime's independent creator community — rows of illustrators, comic artists, and makers selling prints, original art, stickers, plush, and one-of-a-kind work you won't find anywhere else.
About Artist Alley
You'll find Artist Alley on the first floor in Hall D, accessible from both the North and East lobbies. It's open Friday 12pm–7pm, Saturday 10am–7pm, and Sunday 10am–6pm. Bring cash and a wishlist — many artists sell limited runs that don't last the weekend.
SacAnime 2026 is being held Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 4th – 6th, 2026 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, Memorial Auditorium and Hyatt Ballroom.
Application status
Artist Alley applications for Summer 2026 have ended. The results will be posted soon.
Artist Alley is juried by the artist alley team. For SacAnime Summer we will be selecting a lot of local artists, and looking for artists with diverse products and style, and eye-catching displays. Please do NOT apply if you do not plan to accept selection.
What if you are not selected? You will NOT receive an email. There will be no public waitlist this season. After jury selections have been made, in the event of cancellations or dropouts, we will be selecting replacements from our remaining applicants and reach out via email. All selections are final and at the discretion of the SacAnime Artist Alley director and team.

Rules & conduct
All participating artists will be expected to follow the Artist Alley Rules. Please read this document in full before applying for an Artist Alley space. Failure to follow the rules may result in ejection from the event, and possible fines from the State of California.
By law, any individual selling items in the state of California must have a California Seller's Permit. You must be 18 years of age or older to obtain one. The permit is free, and very easy to obtain. SacAnime requires that all sellers provide a photocopy of their seller's permit during check-in. You do not need your permit for registration.
