Guests of Honor
Photo Ops
Professional photo ops are your chance for a high-quality printed photo with a Guest of Honor.
Whether professional photo ops are offered varies by edition, and the lineup with prices is confirmed during show week. Guests not listed for a professional photo op generally offer table selfies at their booth instead.
What you get
Included with every photo op
Each photo op includes one printed 8×10 photo, taken and printed while you wait. Additional printed photos are $10 each, a digital JPG is $10, and a top loader is $5. Group prices are available at the photo-ops table. Buying in advance is recommended.
Where & when
- Photo ops are held on the second floor of the Convention Center in Ballroom A, the celebrity autograph room.
- The schedule is posted on the website by the Wednesday of show week. Buy your tickets at the photo-ops table before your timeslot begins.
- Lines open only 15 minutes before the scheduled time — please don’t line up early. Arrive shortly before your scheduled photo-op time.
Rules
Inside the photo op room
- Absolutely no personal photography, no videography, and no autographs in the photo op room — no exceptions.
- No kissing of guests, and no asking to be kissed.
- Special poses are at the discretion of the celebrity and subject to scheduling.
A couple of tips: glasses can glare or hide blinks, so remove them if you don't mind, and note that white tends not to photograph well.
Common questions
A full-color 8×10 photo of you with the celebrity — not a conversation. A photo op typically lasts less than 30 seconds.
